Responsibilities:-

1. Financial analysis and reporting: Perform financial analysis to support business decisions, identify trends, and provide insights to management. Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Analyze financial data to identify variances, trends, and areas for improvement. Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
2. General ledger management: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts. Record journal entries accurately and timely. Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations. Review and analyze general ledger transactions for accuracy and completeness.
3. Cost accounting and inventory management: Assist in cost accounting activities, including inventory valuation, cost analysis, and cost control measures. Ensure accurate and timely recording of inventory transactions. Collaborate with the operations team to monitor and analyze inventory levels, identify cost-saving opportunities, and improve inventory management processes.

• Strong accounting knowledge: In-depth understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and general ledger management. Familiarity with Indian accounting standards (Ind AS) and relevant statutory requirements.
